Carolyn Maimone-Dillon Cares |

Carolyn Cares so much that she met with LCWA Board Members and staff to educate herself on current projects, hot topics of interest, LCWA’s 5 year plan and the current budget. Carolyn Cares so much that she volunteers and chairs for the not for profit group ROW—Restore our Waterways. Carolyn Cares so much that she attends monthly LCWA and HCLRC meetings and has been doing so for over a year. Carolyn Cares so much that she has been organizing field trips for residents in her community to tour LCWA’s NuRF (Nutrient Reduction Facility) since April of this year. Lance Lumbard, LCWA NuRF Project manager has guided the tours that have taught the residents what the facility will do, how it will do it, and why it is so important for the health of our waterways in the entire chain of lakes. Carolyn Cares so much that even though personal promotion and the thought of campaigning is no where near her comfort zone, she is putting herself out there to make a difference for our Waterways in Lake County Florida. Carolyn Cares so much that she captures rainwater to use for watering plants around her home Carolyn Cares so much that she pre-filed to be a candidate for the District 3 position a month before the deadline.
